EBS English 에서는 2010년 2월 개편을 맞아서, 새로운 시리즈들이 방송되고 있습니다. 남는 시간 짬짬이 들을 생각으로 여러 프로를 살펴보던 중, 괜찮다고 느낀 것이 바로 "영어회화 Situation 130"입니다. 난이도는 그다지 높지 않은(실제로는 기본적인) 내용이지만, 실생활에서 사용할 수 있는 다양한 표현을 재미있게 풀어내고 있는 느낌입니다.
[Dialogue]
- A: My brother got married last week.
- B: Oh, really? How was the wedding?
- A: It was alright. It was one of those typical korean weddings.
- B: Did he have it at a wedding hall or a hotel ballroom?
- A: At a wedding hall. There were so many guests.
- B: How many came?
- A: Roughly 300 from each side of the family.
- B: That's almost 600 altogether. That's a lot. Western weddings rarely have that many guests.
- A: Yes, I've heard. They're more private, aren't they?
- B: Uh-huh. Only family members and close friends are invited.
